InisCare is looking for a caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic person to join our team as an Rapid Responder Health Care Assistant . This is a full-time role, working 4 days first week and 3 days second week.

Duties and Responsibilities

· To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, and any other specific approaches as layout within the care plan so as not to cause any confusion for the client in providing short-notice care.

· Always act in such a way to promote and safeguard the well–being and interests of the client.

· Report to your Line Manager on a regular basis, any marked change in the physical, behavioral or social condition of the client and perceived lack of resources, help, or advice, or to any action by a person or organisations which may be harmful to the client.

· Undertake a range of Personal and Practical Care Duties.

· Providing support and maintaining the individuality of each client delivering a service that demonstrates dignity and respect.

· Prompting independence.

· To provide general support to the client as part of a flexible caring team.

To ensure that when the emergency staff are providing a holding role to enable permanent members of the care team to take over a full and complete hand-over is facilitated to ensure continuity of care and the handover of all records and important operational material that supports the smooth transition from one care team to another.

Job Specification

Qualifications /Attainments

· Essential – FETAC level 5 Full Award/or equivalent as required.

· Essential – Driver’s license and own vehicle

Relevant Knowledge and Experience

· Desirable – 2 Years experience in healthcare.

· Desirable – Additional experience or understanding of areas relating to the position.

Skills & Competences

· EssentialExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· EssentialSelf-motivated, results-focused, and able to work on own initiative.

· EssentialMust have a caring and compassionate nature with a passion for the delivery of high-quality services to the elderly.

Hours of work

· 4 or 3 days per week

· 12-hour shifts

· Every second weekend

· You must be available 8 am-9 pm with a 1-hour break per day.
