We belief that independence is about being in control of your decisions. Having in home care services means being in control of your activities and retaining as much independence as each situation allows. Many of our customers just need a little help to continue living a safe and productive life while some might be recovering from a fall or surgery, or other condition. Regardless of your situation, our goal is to enable you to achieve the best possible outcome while being in control of your care and daily decisions.
Just like nurses and doctors, professional care assistants have chosen a career in compassionate care of those in need. All of our care assistants must pass a seven stage screening process before they can care for you without supervision. Included in these stages are face-to-face interviews, two day on-site induction, reference checks, Garda vetting and in-home supervision from our experienced care team. We also undertake random spot checks on all of our care assistants to make sure they are providing the best care. We are proud of our carers and promise that these are the care assistants we would love to be caring for our parents.
We care for our carers. We work in the care industry and our care assistants know that to provide the best care they must be supported and valued. Our company started with carers’ ideas; we listened to their challenges and developed simple ways of providing a better working environment for everyone. We also believe in paying a fair wage. This often means that our pricing is higher than other providers but in the majority of cases we know this is down to our carer costs. Our caring culture supports our staff and supports you. This shared ethos is helping us to attract the best care assistants and allowing us to provide you with the best care.
We work hard to match you with a care assistant that best suits your personality type and care needs. But like all good relationships, sometimes things just don’t work out. If this happens, contact us straight away and we’ll introduce you to another care assistant as soon as we can.
We are developing new ways of improving our matching process. During your initial care assessment we will show you a few short videos of carers that we think would be right for you. This gives you a great opportunity to get a quick insight into the personalities of the care assistants that may be caring for you. We have a great team of care assistants so we are sure that we have the right one for you.
